Welcome to the website for the Green Party of Santa Cruz County, California. Greens represent 3,088 voters, or 2.1% of the registered voters in the county (as of 7/11/2011). The Green Party is the only political party with members in many countries spread across the globe. Learn more from Wikipedia. Locally the Green party was very active in 2000 while organizing around the Ralph Nader for President campaign. More recently the very few GP organizers that remained active in 2007 turned their attention to supporting Nader on the P&F ticket on the 2008 ballot.
